Marty Velas is the owner and award winning head brewer at Fanatic Brewing Company in North Knoxville, TN. With an impressive resume in brewing spanning back to 1978 in California, Marty has been a brewer, brewing consultant, educator, and craft beer fanatic around the world from the mountains of East Tennessee to as far away as Africa & Japan. Marty’s beers have been awarded numerous and prestigious awards including Gold medals from the Great American Beer Fest and The World Beer Cup.
